Equally at home in traditional and contemporary repertoire, pianist Lyndon Ji has performed with members of the Grammy-winning Akropolis Reed Quintet and recently appeared at Ticino Musica Festival, Mozarteum, Core Memory Music, Orchestra New England, Gijón Piano Festival, Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, Bowdoin International Music Festival, and Norfolk New Music Workshop. This season, he holds week-long residencies at the Avaloch Farm Music Institute and Yellow Barn.

Lyndon is Assistant Professor of Piano and Music at West Virginia Wesleyan College, staff pianist at Rutgers University, and Artistic Director of the Bay Area International Piano Competition. He is a candidate for the Doctor of Musical Arts degree at the Yale School of Music under Wei-Yi Yang, following studies with Roberto Plano and Logan Skelton at Indiana University (AD) and the University of Michigan (MM). Prior to his career in music, he pursued Mathematics (BS) at Yale and served as a Swensen Fellow.
